Core Product Manager

Chicago, IL

Job Summary:

This role will report to the Director of Product and will be primarily responsible for executing the core product roadmap, which consists of the portals and the pay products. They will work closely with internal stakeholders to manage the prioritization of the roadmap and communicate product decisions. They will also be responsible for excellent scrum practice to follow through on communication and healthy product development on the core teams to deliver strong outcomes.

What you will own:

  • Own the execution of the core payments and portals product roadmap
  • Work closely with designers, engineers, and other product managers to deliver intuitive and scalable product experiences
  • Communication of the core product product position
  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to define priorities based on overall business growth targets
  • Communicate product decisions and vision to internal and external stakeholders on the product roadmap
  • Set sprint plans, manage scrum practices, and prioritize backlog with the core engineering teams to drive the execution of key company initiatives
  • Hyperfocused obsession of merchant Go-to-Market and scale with core product

What you will bring:

  • 2-5 years experience in product, sales/solutions engineering, or developer relations
  • Experience working with payment processing and or rails - RTP, ACH, FedNow
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • An acute ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration abilities
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Developed prioritization across multiple projects and deadlines to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization
