Position Overview:

The Account Executive is responsible for driving the full sales cycle for a diverse book of high-value customers, from identification to prospecting to closing. This position will be based in our Chicago office and report directly to Aeropay’s VP of Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow a book of high-potential, engaged sales prospects
  • Conduct extensive market research to identify potential clients within existing and emerging verticals through analysis of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at target companies
  • Identify and engage in networking activities to expand outreach
  • Effectively articulate Aeropay’s value proposition to prospects, tailoring proposals to meet their individual business needs
  • Leverage project management skills and cross-functional collaboration to drive successful deals over the finish line
  • Monitor industry trends and news, staying up to date with changing competitive landscapes and product developments

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of quota-carrying SaaS, payments, or technology sales experience in a primary hunter role; experience selling API products is a plus
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role at a high-growth organization, with the ability to thrive in an occasionally ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated track record of successful prospecting and pipeline generation, with experience in building and executing go-to-market strategies and campaigns
  • Strong ability to operate as a proactive hunter, driving revenue strategies and initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Collaborative and mission-driven mindset with continuous adoption of a “win as a team” approach
  • Highly articulate with superior written, verbal, and presentation skills

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 base salary
    • This role includes a variable compensation structure based on performance
