Position Overview:

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our growing team. This role will be instrumental in analyzing large data sets, developing data-driven insights and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python and SQL, experience working with structured and unstructured data and a keen analytical mindset. Experience in the payments and/or FinTech industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns and insights that drive critical business decisions
• Write optimized SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Python to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, create dashboards and provide actionable insights
• Monitor and optimize data quality and integrity across various data sources
• Utilize DataDog for monitoring and alerting on data processes and system performance
• Assist in developing and automating reporting systems to improve efficiency and data accessibility

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or a related field, preferably within a FinTech and/or payments environment
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation and analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data meaningfully and creatively
• Experience working with relational databases and data warehouses
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present data-driven insights to stakeholders
• Experience with AWS RedShift, Glue, DynamoDB, S3 and AppFlow
• Familiarity with DataDog for data infrastructure monitoring

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000
