Position Overview:

The Risk Analyst will play a crucial role in monitoring unusual transactions, identifying suspicious activities and implementing strategies to mitigate fraud risk. This role involves analyzing transaction data, investigating and addressing potential fraud alerts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the overall security of the payment network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze transactions, customer behaviors, and patterns to identify potential fraudulent activities
  • Investigate and resolve fraud cases, working closely with internal teams as necessary
  • Collaborate with the Fraud, Risk, and Compliance teams to implement effective fraud prevention measures and enhance overall security protocols
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on fraud cases, trends, and recommendations to management
  • Maintain accurate records of investigations, findings, and outcomes in compliance with company policies and legal requirements

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in risk/fraud analysis, risk management or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, data visualization software)
  • Knowledge of risk and/or fraud  detection techniques
  • Precision in data entry and recordkeeping
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
